Killzone 2

Well, I’ve been playing Killzone 2 for a while now. Personally, I think the game is fantastic. The graphics, as more than a couple have noticed, is exceptional. But more importantly, the gameplay is actually fun and not too repetitive. The on-line multiplayer is definitely where the game shines. But, since there are players that pretty much have nothing else to do in life than get great at Killzone 2, I find myself dying quite often. While I am getting better, having to see your character crumple to the ground like a rag doll isn’t exactly my idea of a great time. So, check out the multi-player since the maps are huge and the gameplay fun - you might catch me there honing my skills ;)

Let me know what you all think of the game.

What was old is new

For some strange reason, I've been gravitating to old games recently. To clarify, I do have plenty of current games to play but for some reason I feel drawn to either re-start or complete games I started years ago. For example, yesterday I just completed "Syphon Filter: Logan's Shodow" for the Sony PSP. I've had the game for over a year. Last year whilst playing I got hung up on a level. I didn't check GameFaqs or anything else - I just gave up. The same thing is kinda happening with Metroid-Prime Hunters for the Nintendo DS. Love the game but also got stuck and gave up. Now, I'm not what you call a "hard-core" gamer but I do own a lot of games and game systems. I just tend to play them causally.

So, does anyone else out there do what I do? Do you ever pick up older games or do you simply sell them/trade the game when you're tired of it?
